“ ^bBehold, I am laying in Zion a choice stone, a ^cprecious cornerstone,
And the one who believes in ^{▼▼Or it}Him will not be ^{▼▼Or disappointed}put to shame.”
7 ^fThis precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for unbelievers,

“ ^gA stone which the builders ^hrejected,
This became the ^{▼▼Lit head of the corner}chief cornerstone,”
8 and,

“ ^jA stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;
^kfor they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, ^land to this they were also appointed.
